Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born as the only daughter of Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered entertainment early and began being the lead in a variety of shows on television by the time she reached the age of 16. The critically acclaimed character she played in the television movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went further to take on other memorable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge for the film Downfall. The film received nominations for an Oscar and won critical acclaim. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated movies featuring models. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable international and national projects throughout the past few years. The projects she worked on include the British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French miniseries about the history of Napoleon. She also served on the jury at the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
